Worksheet to Accompany Video 1 – The Foundation: Your Body is an Animal

Lions don’t get fat. Neither do tigers or bears. Why not? Because they are instinctually in
touch with what to eat, how much, and when. Only we humans override our natural
instincts―guiding us in the direction of healthy, lean bodies―and stuff ourselves with
quantities of food that harm our health. By learning to get in touch with our bodies’ natural
instincts―what I call our “Inner Animal”―we can learn to eat just the right amount,
satisfying our true hunger, and find our own natural path to a flat belly.

Why does the idea of letting our bodies guide us to our right weight seem so foreign?
