Susan's Super Secret Questions

Sometimes I send my guest the subject matter-oriented questions in advance of
the show, but not often. They are subject-matter experts, used to talking about
their scope of knowledge. It’s assumed that they’ll show up, you will ask questions
and they will answer them with little or no surprises. The problem with this is two-fold.
First, you get the “Same old, same old” pitch about their stuff that everyone else gets.
Secondly, your interview doesn’t stand out nor do these guests connect with your
audience in any meaningful way. There’s nothing unique about your show, your interview
or your listener or viewers experience.

I have created many of these questions myself as well as liberating many of these
questions from far and wide.
