Genetic “Trick” That Cranks T-Levels

Genetic “Trick” That Cranks T-Levels

In addition to supplementing your testosterone to increase your stamina, lean muscle and ‘get up and go energy’ you must also watch out for chemicals that  increase your Estrogen (female hormones) such as estrognenic compounds that leach out of plastic packaging, Phthalates from detergents and phytoestrogens from soy.

In this article by John Barban MS, Nutrition and Exercise Science and the creator of the Adonis Golden Ratio Systems he also explains that the more fat you have, the more gets converted to estrogen (man boobs!) so your workout regime must first reduce fat and then build muscle or your body will stop responding to your weight training.

For example, in this free video below  you’ll discover an amazing genetic trick that cranks up your testosterone levels and builds a leaner, stronger, more muscular and younger looking physique… without “weird” drugs or “drug-like” supplements…

male DNA

I believe there is an epidemic starting that is ruining our ability as men to gain muscle, burn fat, have a healthy sex life (or a sex life at all) and actually enjoy life.

That epidemic is low testosterone.

As we age testosterone starts to decline, this is not new. But just a few decades ago this decline wouldn’t start until you were approaching 50 years old. Now it’s starting to happen to men in their 40’s and even in their mid 30’s! I’ve worked with many clients who were frustrated with their lack of results in the gym, their inability to gain muscle and how their body seemed to just want to gain fat. It’s pretty depressing as a 30 something year old guy to be hitting the gym just as hard as when you were 20 something but get none of the results.

The lack of results are not for a lack of effort, but from a lack of testosterone. And it can ruin your entire life if you don’t do something about it.

So what is happening to us?

The problem is that we now live in a highly estrogenic environment and it’s literally turning men into women. It’s causing our testosterone levels to decrease and our estrogen levels to rise which means less muscle and more fat.

Environmental estrogen are everywhere including the water supply, food supply, household items like detergents, laminates, soaps, beverage containers like plastic bottles and aluminum cans. By the time you’ve brushed your teeth in the morning you’ve likely exposed yourself to multiple forms of environmental estrogens.

So what can you do about it?

  • First thing is to try and avoid drinking bottled water and canned drinks as estrogenic compounds used to line these containers seeps into the liquid then you drink it.
  • Second thing is to minimize your use of detergents and shampoos that have something called Phthalates. (This is a strange enough word that you should be able to remember it and remember to choose products that are Phthalate free if possible.)
  • Third is reduce soy consumption. Soy protein can have an estrogenic like effect. Eating too much soy can be detrimental to your muscle gaining and fat loss goals.
  • Fourth, switch your workout and diet focus from muscle gaining to fat loss first! (then let your DNA do all the work)

Here’s why:

Body fat has a compound in it that converts testosterone to estrogen. The more body fat you have the more of your testosterone will get converted to estrogen. This is not good because estrogen stimulates the production of more body fat and less muscle. As you can see this is a vicious cycle and it actually gets even worse.

Once your body fat gets high enough, your muscles simply stop responding to your weight training workouts. You could be spinning your wheels for years stuck at the same size, and your muscles won’t grow, but your belly still does. And all of this is because of an imbalance between your testosterone and estrogen levels.

We’ve Been Doing it Backwards

Your goal should always be to get lean and drop fat FIRST, then build muscle. But most of us have been taught to do it the other way around in the old bulk up then cut down pattern. If you’ve tried to gain muscle by bulking up you’ve likely made it almost impossible to see any real progress or results because excess fat fights against your body’s ability to gain muscle.

Your True Natural Shape

your true natural shape

Your body has a natural shape and proportion (under the fat) where you will look and feel your best.

It’s also the shape that will allow you to actually build more muscle and reset your testosterone levels. Carrying excess fat takes you out of this natural shape and makes it almost impossible to build muscle or even feel good. Think back to when you were 20 years old, your body put on muscle without you even lifting a weight. That’s because the natural rise in testosterone that transforms your body from a ‘boy’s’ body to a ‘mans’ body. If you also lifted weights at that age then you know how easy and fast you could build muscle. Even if you were carrying a bit of extra fat you had so much testosterone coursing through your body your muscles were going to get bigger no matter what. But as you age the game changes.

Once you get to 40 years and older you simply don’t have as much testosterone as when you were 20.

Combine your naturally declining testosterone levels with this estrogenic environment we all live in and you’ve really got the deck stacked against you. This means you have to be smarter with the way you eat and the way you workout. Gone are the days when you could just eat whatever you want, and go to the gym and knock out a bunch of sets of bench press and squats and simply grow. Now your workout has to match where you are in life, you’re not 20 years old anymore and you shouldn’t be training or eating like you are.

You can still have the body you want, you just have to be smart with your approach to getting it.

For example, in this free video below, you’ll discover an amazing genetic trick that cranks up your testosterone levels and builds a leaner, stronger, more muscular and younger looking physique… without “weird” drugs or “drug-like” supplements.

It’s time to slim down, muscle up and get healthy.
