How To Revive Your Attraction Towards Your Husband

“I long to be touched.”

Here is a letter we got form a woman whose husband has let himself go and now wants to have sex with her… Read our coach, Chas August’s advice:

I am a wife married 17 years to my husband. For many many years I was totally in love and attracted to my husband and he rarely wanted to have sex.  Now after he has gained 100 pounds and let his hygiene go down the tubes he has realized that I no longer want to have sex with him. So now, he is looking for sex from me to repair his ego which I am no longer willing to do since he has chosen not to take care of himself. I find it impossible to sleep with him in his condition and have told him so. However, we have chosen to stay together for financial reasons. I feel so lonely and long to be touched by a man I am attracted to but I have been unsuccessful in even finding a friend with benefits. I feel so empty and unloved. What advice can you give me? -Lisa

Dear Lisa,

My name is Chas August.  I’m a coach with the PersonalLifeMedia Coaching Program.  Sloane Fox and Susan Bratton have asked me to follow up with you.  It’s been about 5 months since you reached out to Sloane for advice and I’m wondering if your situation has improved?

It is my experience that, too often, when faced with challenging situations, people wait a long time before actually taking action.  And after all that waiting the thing we realize we’ve gotten good at is WAITING!  Relationships hardly ever just get better by waiting – and often, by the time we are fed up with waiting, the relationship is beyond repair.

So if you’re sitting in longing and loneliness while you wait for him to change, or wait for a friend-with-benefits to show up, or wait until you are fed up, I think there is a better idea. As a coach I know that no matter how successful you are in other areas of your life, forming and maintaining the intimate relationship you want is not easy. I understand this, because I’ve been there. Rather than work from a formula or diagnosis, I bring deep, powerful intuition I’ve gained by facilitating workshops on love, intimacy and sexuality with tens of thousands of people for over 20 years.

Working with a coach can help you develop a happy, sexy, fun relationship. Coaching is practical, not theoretical, and spiritual but not California “woo-woo.” Your coach will support you to see what you are doing that doesn’t work, and show you—step by step —how to turn it around.

Lisa, I strongly encourage you to look into our coaching program .  I think with a little help and support you’ll find the support you need to move from empty and unloved to fulfilled and loved.

Warmly,
Chas August, Sex, Love & Intimacy Coach
