I recently tried two new high-quality vibrators from a Canadian company called We-Vibe. My girlfriend, Renee, is helping them with PR and she shipped me samples (score!) to try.
Here are the pros and cons of the two products, We-Vibe II and Salsa, based on my personal trials.
We-Vibe is a rechargeable vibrator designed for use during intercourse that simultaneously stimulates both her G-Area and the clitoris by wrapping inside and out of a woman’s vulva.
Salsa is a compact, rechargeable vibrator with 9 different speeds and pulses.
Of the two, I found the Salsa a preferable product for my particular “use case,” but I do believe We-Vibe will suit many, many women very well.
Here’s my story:
I like using a vibrator for clitoral stimulation AFTER I have had as many kinds of “other” sexual stimulation from hands, tongue, penis as I desire during that particular lovemaking session. I never start off with a vibrator, unless I’m just lying in bed and want to have a few orgasms before I arise. Because I practice Expanded Orgasm, my clitoris has become very sensitive (in a good way) to light, soft stimulation. Because a vibrator desensitizes the clitoris, it’s best to use it at the end of lovemaking, instead of the beginning, if you are one of those women who can feel more delicate stimulation.
Greedy little orgasm pig that I am, I save the vibes for “the end” when I’ve had a lot of orgasms from other stimulation and I want just a few more really good orgasms.

It’s the best small-format vibrator, both in features, construction and quality of vibration that I’ve ever experienced. With the boatload of crapola products on the market, I appreciate the attention to quality that We-Vibe as a company has created.
If Apple made vibrators, they’d look like We-Vibe products. The industrial design is top notch.
Still. It comes down to this. Do you like the particular vibration style on your girl parts? For that answer, you’ll have to try it yourself.
Advice? If you like a big vibe. Perhaps you’re a Hitachi Magic Wand kinda girl? Salsa isn’t going to be a big enough sensation. If you like little bullets and solid, but not massive vibration, Salsa may be perfect for you.
I suggest you buy red or even white, instead of black. It’s tiny enough that it’s hard to see amongst sheets and pillows or in the depths of your make up bag. Go bright!
The We-Vibe was a different story for me.
I didn’t like it.
Hub and I tried it, and it kept going sideways on us when he put his member inside me. I told him it’s because his penis is so massive. He liked that!
Depending on your anatomy and love-making style, We-Vibe might be the best vibrator you’ve ever experienced. It’s certainly a unique concept.
The idea of having a hands-free vibe that stimulates your clitoris WHILE you’re making love is clever.
