"Now I cannot get a full erection, especially at the tip. Is this from masturbation?" [Mailbag]

Dear Susan,

Thank you for your all information. I want to ask for your help please. Let me share with you a problematic area of my sex life.

Up until 10 years ago, I masturbated frequently.

Over time my penis skin became more and more thin. And then the tip of my penis got softer and softer. Now I have no full erection especially at the tip. It’s not strong as the shaft of my penis. The nerves at the tip are not active enough.

When I try to insert my penis into my girlfriend’s vagina during sexual intercourse, I cannot penetrate her because my penis is too soft. She is complaining that I cannot penetrate her or get hard enough.

So what problems can bring this please?  What will cure this? I tried medication, but doctors say its normal.

Please let me hear from you one solution!!!

Thank you in advance!!

Regards,

Y

Hi Y,

I cannot provide you with an answer for a number of reasons. First, I am not a doctor and secondly, I have no experience with this issue.

If your doctor says your penis is normal, you may want to consider going to a different doctor and asking him about erectile dysfunction.

You may also want to try Viagra or another ED solution, if you are a healthy candidate.

I have not heard of excessive masturbation thinning the tip or skin or causing ED. If it’s not that, it’s likely another problem, perhaps something like low blood pressure or another issue.

Definitely try another doctor.

And let me know how you do.

I can imagine this is a very upsetting situation and I encourage you to seek local, professional, medical help again.

Try a specialist, called a Urologist.

With love,
Susan Bratton
