Your chronological age is how many years you’ve been alive. Your biological age is how healthy you are compared to other people. My chronological age is 62. My biological age according to TruAge is 43 and GlycanAge is 23.
Part of the reason that I am nearly 20 years younger health-wise is that I have been doing these ProLon 5-Day Meal Plans for several years. Caloric restriction, intermittent fasting, and fasting windows all help reduce your biological age, giving you a longer health span.
But I’m BUSY and I don’t like to have to think about fasting windows or caloric restriction. That’s why I prefer this easy, 5-day meal plan that gives me the same results – even better results.
Fasting helps the body take a break from its digestion job and focus on intracellular cleanup (autophagy) and cell renewal. ProLon has new data published in the highly-regarded Nature Journal, showing that three 5-day fasts a year using their meal box reduces biological age.

“A fasting-mimicking diet causes hepatic and blood marker changes, indicating reduced biological age and disease risk.”
“ProLon is as effective as a heart-healthy diet in supporting the body’s ability to lose weight to help maintain healthy cholesterol levels”.*
Said in another way, the FMD three times a year adds 2.5 years to your life. It lowers your belly fat and fatty liver and resets glucose levels.
“Losing weight with ProLon supports the body’s ability to maintain healthy HbA1c levels, similar to a heart-healthy diet.”*
My motivation for doing a ProLon fast three times a year is that during autophagy, cells recycle intracellular debris and worn-out parts (organelles), so they appear to be younger versions of themselves after the fast. This creates fresh cells that give you more energy.
Watch my video about how my 5-day fast is going. If you’re fat, have high blood pressure or insulin issues, or are over 40, doing three of these fasts a year is a great idea.

Here is a series of videos about the ProLon FMD
