Traditional vs. Infrared saunas

Enjoying Sunlighten Sauna

I was on a catamaran at a business event in San Diego Bay. There was a healthy, strong man there that looked like he took care of himself. He was 59 and looked like he was at his peak.

We started talking about stem cells and longevity, and then we got onto cold plunges vs. cryotherapy. Which flowed into saunas.

He was a die-hard traditionalist. He prefers to sweat in a hot sauna.

I told him I had a mPulse from Sunlighten. I prefer the infrared sauna that heats you from within rather than the superhot saunas that make you sweat from the heat outside your body. You don’t get as heated up, and you still sweat plenty.

It’s the sweat you want because that’s how the skin detoxes the body. But why be miserable because you’re some kind of traditionalist? I don’t use twigs to brush my teeth, either.

I get the same benefit he does of the detox, muscle recovery, etc., but I’m more comfortable.

To each their own, but I like Sunlighten. No, I love Sunlighten.

Let me tell you why below.

If you’re wondering why Sunlighten is my preferred infrared sauna of choice, and why I recommend it to practically everyone I meet… here are just a few reasons off the top of my head.

  • I met the CEO of the Company and thought she was a caring and excellent entrepreneur.
  • The biohacking geeks and doctors I respect also love and promote this brand, Sunlighten.
  • Their customer care has been excellent, and they’ve taken care of our fans, who purchase every step of the way.
  • Their saunas have all three light spectrums: near, mid-, and far-infrared.
  • I’m enjoying the heck out of my mPulse sauna at home. We go in a few times a week and get a good sweat before our shower. It’s a way to connect and decompress while supporting anti-aging and, for me, covid recovery.
  • I haven’t seen another brand with all the sizes and features, and I prefer Sunlighten’s designs and range of offerings.

Now, here are some of the documented health benefits based on what others have claimed that come along with red-light usage in general:

  • Reduced inflammation
  • Detoxification and strengthening of the immune system through sweating
  • Improved wound healing
  • Activated cell regeneration, anti-aging hormones, and human growth hormone
  • Increased blood flow and improved heart function
  • Reduced chronic and arthritis pain
  • Lowered blood pressure and cortisol (stress hormone)
  • Improved weight loss and athletic performance
  • Cognitive and hormonal balance

Infrared technology also has a parasympathetic effect, which heals by helping the body handle stress much better.

Another sweet thing about Sunlighten’s saunas is that you can listen to soothing music or watch your favorite show. At the same time, infrared light therapy works at the cellular level to expel toxins, increase circulation, spark metabolism, and burn calories.

If I were to summarize what I would want to say about Sunlighten…

Luxurious Rejuvenation.
