Stress is not a “silent” killer. 

Anyone under stress can say it’s loud, obnoxious, aggressive, overbearing, and downright cruel.

First comes the trigger, which causes your body to leap into a stress response.

And then come all the secondary effects of stress that wreak havoc on the body and make you feel even more stressed!

Stress can wreak havoc on a person’s mood, health, and overall life. Stress can manifest itself in several ways, including physical symptoms such as headaches, stomach issues, and difficulty sleeping, and emotional symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, and difficulty concentrating.

One of the most common sources of stress is work. Deadlines, demanding bosses, and office politics can all contribute to feelings of stress and anxiety. Other common sources of stress include financial issues, relationships, and health problems.

Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do about the trigger. But you CAN interrupt your body’s natural response to override stress, feel calmer, and avoid the physical effects of chronic stress.
