In the early ’90s, when he was still an aspiring actor, he wrote a check for $10 million for “acting services rendered” and dated it for Thanksgiving 1995. He visualized himself receiving such a sum for a movie role, often driving up to Hollywood Hills and imagining directors valuing his work.
Fast forward to 1994, and he landed a movie role in “Dumb and Dumber” that paid him… you guessed it, $10 million. Jim attributed a part of his success to the power of visualization and self-belief.
